Speech by the Mohawk chief, Abraham, to Albany and Schenectady officials, made May 20, 1775 (shortly after Concord and Lexington), regarding reports that a large body of New Englanders planned to kidnap the tribe's superintendent, Guy Johnson (son of Sir William Johnson) and extinguish their council fire.
